Welcome to Vantage Point

This will be the first competetive level event in England where the new set Vantage Point will be legal! Ipswich doesn't have much of a local Netrunner scene but it does have a couple of good board game shops and not_yeti knows the decent pubs and resturants!

What Are District Championships?

District Championships replace the UKs old Regional Circuit and form the introductory level of competitive play! They are run throughout the UK by local TOs and Judges, and are a fantastic opportunity for any Netrunner player to get involved in organised play!

This year, there will be 8 total districts across the UK:

• Birmingham on the 7th of February
• Brighton on the 14th of February
• Bathgate on the 14th of March
• Ipswich on the 14th of March
• London on a TBD date in March
• Reading on the 4th of April
• Birkenhead on the 11th of April
• Bristol on the 25th of April

Prizing

This year, each District is organising it's own prizing. All will include 2026 District Championship Prize Kit by NSG, but additional prizes may vary by location.

Except local artist Brindlemold's work to be available at the event.

Last, but not least, the London & Ipswich Districts will play host to the Annual Londwich Mayoral Election, in which the highest-placing player from a Londwich District Meta (London, East Anglia, South Coast, Aldershot) by total points across both events will be named Mayor of Londwich, and receive the gold-plated Mayor of Londwich Title Badge from its current incumbent, me!

Format

This event will be run as 8 rounds of Single Sided Swiss, with no top cut.

Round 1 will begin at 10:30 with a break for lunch, I will aim to have the event wrapped up around 6pm so we can all go for a drink and a curry!

Venue Information & Accessibility

The venue is ground floor only

Parking available less than 1 minute away at NCP Tacket Street Car Park, Ipswich station is about 15 minute walk away.

The venue is in the heart of the city with lots of options for food available nearby.

Ticket Price & Maximum Capacity

£10 ticket price, 32 max capacity, I expect this event to sell out.
