What Are District Championships?

District Championships replace the UKs old Regional Circuit and form the introductory level of competitive play! They are run throughout the UK by local TOs and Judges, and are a fantastic opportunity for any Netrunner player to get involved in organised play!

Birmingham District has been announced early due to it's start date, but you can expect there to be 8 Districts total this year, and details of them will follow soon.

Prizing

This year, each District is organising it's own prizing. All will include 2026 District Championship Prize Kit by NSG, but additional prizes may vary by location.

Format

Thanks to a change in the OP structure for districts this event will be run without a top cut and with extra rounds of swiss to make up for this. This means the event will be 8 rounds of swiss under the standard ban list that is in effect on the 7th of February

Round 1 will start at 10.45 folling the player meeting at 10.30 with lunch at 2.15 and the last round ending around 6.30ish with prizing afterwards

St Johns is a fully-accessible and inclusive venue. Travel info is available in this google document - there's lots of nearby parking, and bus and train stations in walking distance! There's also lots of local nearby options for food and drink. More information can be found in this Travel Document

Ticket Price & Maximum Capacity

The price for this event will be £17. Tickets are available here. If you are in hardship please get in touch with us and we can help you out! This event is cap at 48 players due to venue size.
