What Are District Championships?

District Championships replace the UKs old Regional Circuit and form the introductory level of competitive play! They are run throughout the UK by local TOs and Judges, and are a fantastic opportunity for any Netrunner player to get involved in organised play!

This year, there will be 8 total districts across the UK:

• Birmingham on the 7th of February
• Bathgate on the 14th of March
• South Coast on a TBD day in February
• Reading on the 4th of April
• Birkenhead on the 11th of April
• Bristol on the 25th of April
• London, and Ipswich dates TBD.

Prizing

This year, each District is organising it's own prizing. All will include 2026 District Championship Prize Kit by NSG, but additional prizes may vary by location.

At Bathgate, we are pleased to offer the following additional prizes: all participants will receive 3x Dr. Nuka Vrolyck alt art created by Ezbior!

Format

This event will be run as single sided swiss, with a cut. This is expected to be 6 rounds of swiss, with a top 4 cut, but depends on numbers.

Expected start time 10:30, lunch around 13:30, end of swiss around 18:30 and close of tournament 20:30.

Venue Information & Accessibility

The venue has step-free access, gender neutral toilets and offers food (with vegetarian and vegan options). Fixed seating will be provided on request.

Ticket Price & Maximum Capacity

Proxies and alt arts

I hope you are all busy experimenting with new cards following the full release of Vantage Point, looking forward to seeing some cool decks at the District!

As it seems there is a good chance people will not be getting Vantage Point before the event I wanted to advise on the use of proxies and alt arts, as this is a competitive event.

This covered in NSG Organised Play policy section 2.3, but the key points for proxies are -

Proxies must be printed

They should contain all relevant card information

Colour or black and white is fine - I'd prefer colour for easy recognition but appreciate ease/cost is higher

Printing will not be available at the event!

If someone enterprising has already produced alt arts they should also follow the guidance set out in organised play for alt arts.

If on the day you are unsure about proxies please ask myself or another TO to review, but I beg you do not rely on hand drawn proxies.
