What Are Megacity Championships?
Megacity Championships form a new mid-level of competitive play between District Championships and the EMEA Continental Championship - They are run throughout the UK by local TOs and Judges, and are a fantastic opportunity for any Netrunner player to get involved in organised play!
This year, there will be 3 total megacities across the UK:
Cambridge 30-31st May
Reading 13-14th June
Bristol 18-19th July
Prizing
In addition to the NSG 2026 Megacity Prize Kit, we will be providing an Reprise alt art by Owen Watts as participation prizing. Expect lots of additional prizing to be available on the day.
Format
This event will be run as 8 rounds of Single Sided Swiss on day 1, followed by a double elimination cut to the Top 8 players on day 2.
Banlist: to clarify, we’ll be using the 26.05 banlist, not the banlist that’s expected to come out the day before the tournament! Melies U and Red Level Clearance welcome, no R+ or Svyatogor!
Side events on day 2 if you're not in the cut = Classique, with enough decks for 18 players... MTG Vintage Cube, and plenty o board games :)
Round 1 will begin at 11:30, details of the rest of the timing of the rest of the rounds will follow later, but we expect day 1 to end by 8pm.
Food + Social Events
During the day there is a variety of good food easily accessible in central Bristol, followed by a trip to Left Handed Giant at the end of day one for good pizza and good beer.

Sparks is a 20 minute walk from Bristol Temple Meads station, or a 5 minute walk from Bristol bus station.
We will be running the tournament on the first floor event space. The shop entrances on ground floor will only be open from 11am, and we will let you in from then. For step-free access, please get in touch with Nicky (nicky3.0 on discord) - there is a lift to all floors, but the way in is different - please do feel free to get in touch to ask.
Ticket Price & Maximum Capacity
The price for this event will be £20. Tickets are available here. If you are in hardship please do get in touch with us and we can help you out! We can host up to 60 players at this event.
