• Choose ANY IDENTITY from the history of netrunner, from Andromeda to Baz (minus a short banlist, see below)
• Switch that identity's faction! Make criminals into anarchs, make HB into NBN, make apex into a shaper, your choice. The influence, decksize, and text remain the same, all that changes is the color.
• Build the rest of your deck with the current standard cardpool and banlist.

That's all it takes! It's a great way to try new deck ideas, and really break netrunner wide open. Want to see what happens when you play a green egg? Want to bring back Omar, but as a criminal this time? Want to give the Professor a full set of knives? Now's your opportunity! Also, as a fun bonus: anyone playing a minifaction (apex, adam, sunny) will get access to all of that minifaction's cards as if they were in the standard cardpool! ...but since you can't BE that minifaction, you'll have to spend some of your 25 influence on them. See below for more details.

Additionally, not only will we be giving out a prize to the winner of the tournament, but I'll be giving out an extra prize to whichever corp/runner decks are, in my very subjective opinion, the coolest idea. So if you've got a great deck idea but don't know if it's viable, build it anyways!

The event will be held in the Netrunner Event Hub Discord and the games will be played on jnet. Do note that none of your decks will be legal, so all decks must be played in the "casual" format. Hope to see you there in costume!

Additionally, if the runner is Apex, Sunny, or Adam, all cards from that faction are added to the standard cardpool for deckbuilding purposes. However, since you must shift factions, you would then need to pay for those cards with influence. For example, if you played as criminal sunny, you could include Security Nexus in your deck, but you'd have to pay 3 of your 25 inf for each copy. And yes, this means every Adam deck must pay for three starting directives, and thus every Adam deck is down 9 influence to begin with.
