Come and play in a decade-old meta as we turn the clocks back to 2015 and experience some memorable matchups such as Prepaid VoicePAD Kate vs Biotic Astro NEH and Faust Whizzard vs Foodcoats EtF. This is an asynchronous event running throughout December, which will be run in the Netrunner Event Hub on Discord. Players will register on Cobra and games will be played on jinteki.net
Players will construct decks utilizing the card pool from the 2012 Core Set up to Data and Destiny. There will be no bans, Wireless Net Pavilion will be unique, up to 3x copies of AstroScript Pilot Program can be played, and the modern “NCIGS” rules will be used (Ie. If Street Peddler is hosting 3 events, you can trash it without installing anything). Here are some example decks that players can use to guide their deckbuilding process.
There will be 4 rounds of closed-decklist DSS with each round being posted weekly starting on the 1st of December. Players will be responsible for scheduling and completing their assigned games in a timely manner, and replays must be shared to confirm results.
Players are free to change their decks and IDs in between rounds! I want to take full advantage of the asynchronous format and give people the freedom to play with a variety of decks.
There is no fee to play! However, there will still be prizing in the form of Lilypad jnet card backs for the winner of the event! If more than 8 people play all 4 rounds, then the top 2 players will receive the card backs.
