Full Details
This is a Casual tier event, and we welcome people of all ability, from first timers to veterans, we'd love to see you all. Depending on number of players we end up with, we will be running roughly 6 rounds of Single Sided Swiss (each being 40 mins), so we'd anticipate the finish time to be around 5-5:30
Anyone is welcome to participate without paying anything, but if you want to be eligible for prizing (or just want to help out with the costs of the venue hire...), we will be asking for a £15 donation to help cover the costs, which can be cash on the day, or via PayPal (paypal.me/AnnaBruceNetrunner). Any money over the costs will be reinvested in future events within Cambridgeshire.
The venue is The Signal Box which is about 7 mins walk from Cambridge Central Station, along the guided busway route. There is no parking at the venue, but both trains and busses stop at the station, and Cambridge has park and ride facilities that connect to the rest of the public transport network if required.
We hope this will be a nice relaxed event, so if you've never been to a Netrunner event, I'd strongly recommend coming along. Proxies are always welcome, so all you need is a printer and some opaque sleeves if you want to try it out. Alt arts will be legal as long as they follow the Casual guidelines. Tea and Coffee will be available, and there are various shops around the station for anything else.
