Spark of Inspiration is a community event for Colorado Netrunner through which participants design custom Identities and use them in a one-off tournament. The idea came from recent discussions of ban lists, power level, and the difficulty to design a good Identity. Designers were given this prompt to shape their Identity design:

Given the fictional premise that all previous Identities have been banned, your goal is to design the latest signature Identity for its faction that best illustrates for you what that faction is about. Imagine this Identity could appear as  the sole choice for its faction in a new “System Gateway” set.

The Colorado Netrunner community created 49 new Identity cards for this Spark of Inspiration event! Only 7, one per faction, will earn a place in this unique event. As of this writing, the voting phase to narrow down the 7 identities is underway. Once voting concludes on October 4th, players will be able to start testing deck ideas ahead of this November 1st Swiss event. This ABR page will be updated by October 7th with previews of the 7 available Identities for use in the tournament.

This Swiss tournament asks players to select identities from the 7 community submitted and selected cards. Other than the identities, the rest of a Standard event applies in terms of card pool, banlist, and event rules. A minimum of four rounds of Swiss to be played.
