NRO//TEST Core Set 1

Welcome to the first official NRO//TEST tournament! NRO is brand new software for playing Netrunner online, and has now implemented both System Gateway and Elevation. You can learn more about NRO here.

In order to help test the software, we are going to run a series of events under the name NRO//TEST. The objective of these is to test the card pool as much as possible, and find any issues to get the software ready for competitive tournament play!

Participants will receive a virtual copy of Load Bearing Regolith Mining License by beefpie_art, activated on their NRO account when Alt Art support is added in the front end (it exists in the back end, there's just currently no way to make a deck that uses them).

The tournament will start at:

• 07:00 PDT
• 10:00 EDT
• 14:00 UTC
• 15:00 BST
• 16:00 CEST

Format

For this event, the format will be Core Set with no additional banlist. This means that any card from System Gateway or Elevation other than The Catalyst and The Syndicate are legal.

The event will be at least 6 rounds of Single Sided Swiss, with additional rounds and top cut added based on attendance and announced at the start of the event.

Games will be played on the NRO client. In addition to the usual point scoring rules, if a bug in a card is found in either players deck that prevents the game from accurately continuing, then both players are awarded 3 points and players with a deck that contains the card with the identified bug will play the remainder of their games using that deck on JNET.

The event will be considered a resounding success if the final round is played with all games on JNET, alongside a healthy pile of bugs to resolve!
