Naarm/Melbourne Netrunner District Championship 2026
On Saturday 4 April 2026 we will be playing a District Championship at Plenty of Games in the CBD using the Standard format and the new Vantage Point cards!

Tickets
Tickets will be $20 and I will create an Eventbrite page in the next weeks when we hopefully have more information about possible banlist updates happening or not.
Please contact Alex (HaverOfFun) on Discord for alternate ticket purchase methods or if the cost is something concerning you - the key thing is getting people to come along and spend a chill day playing!

Format + Structure
There will be most likely 6 round of Single Sided Swiss, followed by a cut to Top 4 Single Elimination. We will be playing in the Standard format which will include the cards from Vantage Point when it is released as well as the 26.03 banlist update released with details in
this article.

  • Vantage Point Standard
  • Single Sided Swiss
  • 16-24 players: 6 rounds, top 4 cut
  • 25-48 players: 7 rounds, top 8 cut
  • 40 minute rounds

Timing
Doors will open for Registration at 10:00, with Round 1 beginning at 10:30. So please ensure prompt arrival and everything organised (decklist already filled out) for speedy signup. Each round will be 40 mins, with a lunch break between rounds 3 and 4.

Player Expectations
This is a competitive-level event, and as such has stricter expectations on competitors. The main things to note are:

  • Proxies are legal (at all levels of play), but please ensure that your proxies are legible (handwritten proxies are not allowed).
  • Printed decklists are mandatory (ordered by Type and then Alphabetical). There will be printed templates available to handwrite your decklist if needed.
  • Alt Arts must adhere to Appendix III of the NSG Organised Play Policy. If you are unsure if your alt arts adhere, please check with the TO prior to the tournament (and bring the original card as a back up).
  • For more information on Player Expectations see Organised Play Policies

After-party
All are welcome to gather for dinner and drinks on Saturday night.
