When you begin your campaign, you will receive full-bleed, double-sided runner and corp ID cards and an Objectives card. Everyone will receive these, regardless of how you do. As you continue through the campaign, you will be able to fulfill Objectives, earning you up to three copies of the promotional full-bleed Charlatan and Eli 2.0 cards. Between each round, you can edit your deck using cards from a single core set and the cards supplied in Terminal Directive. There are no MWL restrictions! FFG estimates it will take approximately four games to complete your Objectives. Then you can switch to the other side, getting you introduced to both sides of the campaign and Objectives for the promos you haven't earned yet. I would like to note that I will not be forcing anyone to follow this format. You paid for the game, play it the way that works best for you. If you would prefer to continue the campaign and just get double your Objectives for the other promo cards, that's fine. I'll be open to reasonable suggestions. The amount of time it takes to obtain all your Objectives is estimated at four and a half hours (not counting a lunch break, which you can take whenever you like). That said, there is no time limit, everyone can play as long as they like.
As you have probably gathered from the above, this is not a tournament and is as casual as it gets. Come on out and play some Terminal Directive, have a drink or two and catch up with your fellow Netrunners. People can register as a duo if they had already planned to play the campaign with a friend. If you hadn't, not to worry, single registrants will be randomly drafted into pairs. We will be drafting the random pairs at 11:00 a.m., so if you signed up solo, please be on time. Other than that, there is no timing structure or any other limitations. People can come and go as they please.
I'd appreciate it if you registered in advance (there's a sign-up sheet on the Facebook event). We can accomodate up to 24 players, but if more people are interested it will be on a first come, first served basis according to the sign-up sheet.
On a final note, it's possible that the date may change if there are issues with the distributor. We're expecting to have Terminal Directive in stock by then, at least enough copies to cover the event. If we end up not getting them on time, I will communicate through Facebook. If you manage to buy a copy of Terminal Directive in the Outpost before the event, don't forget to ask for a receipt as this is your free entrance ticket!
Hope to see you guys on the 6th, and happy bioroid hunting!
