Publishing your decklist to NRDB

Select The Masque: Cyber General for runners or The Shadow: Pulling the Strings as your identity. I can’t figure out how to change the ID of decks that are already made, but if you’ve already made your deck with the real ID, you can export that deck to plain text, then import it as a new deck and just change the second line where the ID is to “The Masque: Cyber General” or “The Shadow: Pulling the Strings” to copy your decklist over.

Format

We will be playing the Costume Party from the Hack-O-Lantern (https://alwaysberunning.net/tournaments/4463/hack-o-lantern-v-remotes-of-terror) tournaments. Here’s how to build your decks:

For each of your decks, choose any* ID from the game's history
*Minus Discontinued Costumes and identities banned in Standard.
Build your deck as if the chosen ID is in a different main faction on its side (Anarch, Criminal, Shaper, HB, Jinteki, NBN, Weyland).
Use the Standard cardpool and Standard Ban List!

Special deckbuilding rules for minifaction costumes:

Each minifaction identity has 15 influence, not 25.
You have access to all cards from your costume's minifaction, even rotated ones (but you spend influence to import them as usual).
Adam does not spend influence for his starting directives.

Corp: Industrial Genomics, Potential Unleashed, Skorpios, Mti

Logistics

Thinking of coming but haven’t had a chance to test your deck? Don’t worry! Minor deck changes are allowed between rounds!

If you realize that your deck doesn’t have enough econ, or doesn’t have multiaccess, that’s fine! Nobody wants to be stuck playing a deck with major, easily fixable flaws. Minor deck changes are allowed between rounds, but you must play the same costume identity and faction.

This is a Casual level event. Decklists not required.

We will play 4 rounds of Double Sided Swiss.

Each round will be 70 minutes. We will aim to wrap up Swiss around 5 pm.

Registration opens at 10:00 am and games begin at 10:30 am. There will be a ~50 minute lunch break after round 1.

Costume contest

At the end of the event, we will vote for best Runner costume (deck) and best Corp costume (deck), and the winner in each category will take home a playset of Measured Response by Bay Area local tzeentchling!

Costumes (for your meat body) are encouraged!

Venue

This event will take place at the Game Kastle Santa Clara, 1350 Coleman Ave, Santa Clara, CA, 95050. There is usually enough parking before in their parking lot, but you can always park along some side streets. The venue is a 10 minute walk from the Santa Clara Caltrain station.

Outside food is permitted. Game Kastle Santa Clara also sells some snacks, drinks, and instant noodles. There's fast food and other fast casual food within walking distance.
