Format

We will be playing the Costume Party from the Hack-O-Lantern (https://alwaysberunning.net/tournaments/4463/hack-o-lantern-v-remotes-of-terror) tournaments. Here’s how to build your decks:

1. For each of your decks, choose any* ID from the game's history
   *Minus Discontinued Costumes and identities banned in Standard.
2. Build your deck as if the chosen ID is in a different main faction on its side (Anarch, Criminal, Shaper, HB, Jinteki, NBN, Weyland).
3. Use the Standard cardpool and Standard Ban List!

Special deckbuilding rules for minifaction costumes:

• Each minifaction identity has 15 influence, not 25.
• You have access to all cards from your costume's minifaction, even rotated ones (but you spend influence to import them as usual).
• Adam does not spend influence for his starting directives.

Logistics

We will use the new September banlist if it is active at the time of this tournament.

This is a Casual level event. Decklists not required.

If we have < 16 players, we will play 6 rounds of Single Sided Swiss. If we have > 16 players, we will play 6 rounds of Single Sided Swiss with a Top 4 cut.

Each round will be 40 minutes. We will aim to wrap up Swiss around 4-5 pm. and the Top Cut by 6 pm.

Registration opens at 10:00 am and games begin at 10:30 am. There will be a ~50 minute lunch break after round 2.

Venue

This event will take place at the Game Kastle Santa Clara, 1350 Coleman Ave, Santa Clara, CA, 95050. There is usually enough parking before in their parking lot, but you can always park along some side streets. The venue is a 10 minute walk from the Santa Clara Caltrain station.

Outside food is permitted. Game Kastle Santa Clara also sells some snacks, drinks, and instant noodles. There's fast food and other fast casual food within walking distance.
