A new set is upon us, along with a rotation of tons of important and familiar cards. We are saying goodbye to familiar faces, pet cards, and IDs that have been around for what seems like forever. Though, to focus on the things we lose takes away from the hard work and effort that has been put into the grand set of Elevation! We are getting a new core set’s worth of cards, including two new IDs for each faction.

Who will you play?! If you are as unsure as the rest of us, join in on the Test Run, a multi week asynchronous standard tournament made specifically for us all to test out the new IDs.

Players will be required to change their IDs and decklists between rounds, choosing a new identity for corp and runner each week. This means if you played Ryō “Phoenix” Ōno: Out of the Ashes during round one and Topan: Ormas Leader round two, you are done with Anarch until the end of the event.

All decklists from the previous rounds will be available in order to help give players a starting point for factions they are less familiar with.

The tournament will follow a typical double sided swiss structure. Opponents will be paired on Cobr.ai, find time with their opponent throughout the week to play both their games, report their record, then wait for the round to conclude. The first round will be paired on Monday, April 28th, and results must be in by Sunday, May 4th. Subsequent rounds will follow that timing structure.
