Australia’s second megacity Championship will be held in Radelaide (obscure local slang for “Radical Adelaide” - don’t worry, you’ll pick up the lingo soon enough).

The event will be at Good Games Adelaide, right in the middle of the city. Plenty of food, public transport, and hotel options are available nearby.

This will be a-two day event:

Day One
Single-sided swiss rounds in the Standard format. The total number of rounds will be based on attendance and in-line with NSG’s recommendations for competitive events - expect 6-7 rounds with a lunch break.

Day Two
Double elimination top cut for either the top 4 or 8 players from day 1 (depending on attendance).

Side events for all other entrants, including:

  • A tournament in the Startup format - featuring an H1 Casual Tournament kit
  • A cube draft for up to 10 players - featuring a real cube
  • Chimera decks for casual play - featuring an unusual card pool

Player Expectations
This is a competitive-level event, and as such has stricter expectations on competitors. The main things to note are:

  • Proxies are legal (at all levels of play), but please ensure that your proxies are legible (handwritten proxies are not allowed).
  • Printed decklists are mandatory. There will be printed templates available to handwrite your decklist if needed.
  • Alt Arts must adhere to Appendix III of the NSG Organised Play Policy. If you are unsure if your alt arts adhere, please check with the TO prior to the tournament (and bring the original card as a back up).
