Tournament Details

Worlds is right around the corner! Come join us for a GNK to help get you into fighting shape. All are welcome, whether you plan on attending worlds or not.

You can self-register on Aesop's Tables: https://www.aesopstables.net/1777/standings.

Recommended Entry Fee: $5*
To help cover prize support at this event and the weekly meetups, I kindly request a $5 entry fee.
*Although appreciated, the entry fee is optional. No problem if you can't afford it; I'd rather you come and not pay than not join us at all.

Schedule

We'll start around 6:30 pm and play 5 rounds of single sided swiss using the standard cardpool. Each round will be 40 minutes long. Feel free to drop in late or drop out early as needed.

The rough schedule is:
6:30 - intro and announce round 1 pairings
6:35-7:15 - Round 1
7:25-8:05 - Round 2
8:15-8:55 - Round 3
9:05-9:45 - Round 4
9:50-10:30 - Round 5

At the end of the swiss rounds, people can stay and hang out or keep playing until Kennedy's closes at midnight.

Other Details

This event coincides with our regular Thursday night meetup, so all are welcome, even if you don't want to play in the timed swiss rounds.

If you have any questions or want to hang out with us online, join us on discord!

This event is hosted at Kennedy's Irish Pub and Curry House. They have good food and drinks so feel free to get dinner there, but no pressure to spend any money. We won't take a dinner break this time, but can start a little later so people can eat before the tournament.
