New Dog, Old Tricks is one of a loose grouping of formats I am going to be trying.
I'll be organizing it primarily through Green Level Clearance discord and games will happen on Jinteki.net.
The tournament
- 4 week Asynchronous tournament
- No decklist required (I trust you)
- 1 Match per week
- Modded Startup format.
Old Tricks
The hook of this tournament is as follows:
No Startup Breakers.
This means that the following startup cards are banned:
- All Startup Icebreakers
- Boomerang
- Botulous
- Chisel
- Endurance
- Leech
Instead, the runners must use older cards to get through ice.
- All Icebreakers from the original Core Set through to the Spin Cycle of cards.

- All Caissa (chess) Programs and Deep Red
- Datasucker
