This is going to be a special event and we're doing something pretty wild.
There are only two rules regarding deck construction:
- Always remember that the greatest victory is having fun together
- If you can sleeve it, you can play it
Influence requirements? Never heard of 'em
Rotation/Ban list? What's that?
Official cards? Define "official"
This is your chance to get goofy, try your hand at card design, or just bring back old beloved combos. If you decide to try your hand at game design and bring a card not printed by FFG or Nisei, please be prepared to replace/edit it if it is deemed unbalanced.
To reward fair play, at the end of the event there's going to be a vote on who brought the most interesting and/or fun deck to play AGAINST. Winner will get a one-of-a-kind prize.
This is a tournament structured event, but players of all skills are welcome.
Entry fee is $10 or Two-item Minimum
Proof of vaccination is mandatory. (See City of Berkeley Health Mandate)
Organized play information:
- Format is LIBRARY NOT FOUND
- All proxies are legal and can be easily printed at Proxy Nexus
- Tournament Structure will be a Top 4 Double Elimination Cut after Single Sided Swiss round. Match pairings will be run by Aesop's Tables
- This event will follow the Nisei Organized Play Policies
