This tournament was influence-free, inspired by recommended decks from Revised Core Rulebook.

Some concluding thoughts:

  • Due to the fact that noone was testing decks prior to the event, even with limited cardpool there was enough diversity.
  • Runner had all three fractions presented. Sure, that was an Indexing galore all the way to the top, but "the meta" saw a fair amount of Morning Stars (because RIP Corroder)
  • Only two Corp fractions presented were Weyland and Jinteki. (Personally, NBN might have also stood a chance with Bernice-Ash-Data Raven-Closed Accounts, but people around are still traumatized by the loss of AstroScript)
  • The overall feeling - "weird draft". We still had a good time playing Netrunner, but that kind of experience playing without limitation will get old very soon.
  • Influence-free play can be legitimate with some counter-balancing mechanics, might be a thing to explore and test in the future.
