Designed to welcome players of all levels, the Android:Netrunner Store Championship is a relaxed basic tournament that encourages a fun and friendly environment for all participants. As a foundation of the Championship Series, Store Championships celebrate local game stores and their players as the most important part of the gaming community.
Registration will begin at 10:30 AM and the first round will start at 11:00 AM.
We currently anticipating four rounds of Swiss, followed by a cut to the top four or eight players for double-elimination rounds depending on the amount of participants. Swiss matches will be 65 minutes each. There will be a short dinner break after Swiss rounds. Double-elimination games will be 40 minutes each, save for the grand finals game(s), which will be 60 minutes each.
Entry fee: there is a $10 entry fee for this event. Printed decklists are required at registration.
Prizes for the event are:
Top 32 - The top thirty-two players will each receive a copy of the alternate art card “Fisk Investment Seminar.”
Top 8 - The top eight players will each receive a Ele "Smoke" Scovak deckbox.
Top 4 - The top four players will each receive a Ele "Smoke" Scovak playmat.
Top 2 - The top two players will each receive a printed acrylic virus token.
First Place - The winner will receive a color printed plaque and a first round bye to a 2017 Android: Netrunner Regional Championship of their choice!
This will be a Casual Basic Tournament and Standard ANR Constructed rules will apply. Decklists are required for this event and can be printed from a deck building such as netrunner.db or from here.
