 \nShowdowns are fairly casual events and I make a special effort for them 
 to be approachable and inviting for newer players. This is a great place t
 o start if you've never played in an online (or any) tournament before. Th
 ere is even a bonus prize if this is your first online Showdown! The onlin
 e Showdowns are a great way to make connections with Netrunner players all
  around the globe! 😃 This will be another epic Netrunner tournament bri
 nging together new and old players of all skill levels for a wonderful day
  of connecting with friends and hacking servers 🥳\nGames will be played
  on showdown.playnetrunner.net. I will be coordinating the event through t
 he Null Signal online events hub Discord server. You can join the server h
 ere. \nHow long will the tournament be? This is going to be a large event.
  On day one\, I expect 9 rounds of single sided swiss\, plus two short bre
 aks\, which should take around 9 hours. On day two\, we will play a top 16
  finals\; this will be a standard double elim cut with the same start time
  as day one. You're definitely not required to play the whole event to get
  prizes. I'm sure some people will end up dropping part way through.\nThe 
 Showdowns are made possible thanks to volunteers! If you’re interested i
 n volunteering\, please fill out this google from.\n\nWhat happens if I bu
 y a ticket and can't make it? You have two choices. First\, I can refund y
 our ticket. The earlier you can register the better it is for me and I don
 't want that to cost you if your plans change. The second option is to kee
 p your ticket and I will ship you the participation prizes and any early r
 egistration bonuses.\n\nAffordability My main goal for running the Showdow
 n tournaments is to increase access to competitive Netrunner and help conn
 ect our global community. I make an effort to keep the base ticket price a
 ffordable\, but I want to make sure the cost isn't a barrier for anyone wh
 o would like to play and receive prizes. If you are hesitant to play becau
 se of the cost you have a few options.  \nFirst of all\, anyone can play c
 ompletely free without a ticket (tickets are only required to receive phys
 ical prizes). If you would like to play without receiving prizes\, all you
  need to do is register on Cobra and show up in the Discord events hub at 
 the start of the event. Without a ticket you can still win any non-physica
 l prizes and Beans.\nIf you want to play and receive prizes but paying for
  a ticket would prevent you\, use the discount code NETRUNNER4EVERYONE for
  100% off the base ticket price. This discount code does not have unlimite
