  Round 1 starts 30 minutes later\nShowdowns are fairly casual events and I
  make a special effort for them to be approachable and inviting for newer 
 players. This is a great place to start if you've never played in an onlin
 e (or any) tournament before. There is even a bonus prize if this is your 
 first online Showdown! The online Showdowns are a great way to make connec
 tions with Netrunner players all around the globe! 😃 This will be anoth
 er epic Netrunner tournament bringing together new and old players of all 
 skill levels for a wonderful day of connecting with friends and hacking se
 rvers 🥳\nGames will be played on showdown.playnetrunner.net. I will be 
 coordinating the event through the Null Signal online events hub Discord s
 erver. You can join the server here. \nHow long will the tournament be? Th
 is is going to be a large event. On day one\, I expect 9 rounds of single 
 sided swiss\, plus two short breaks\, which should take around 9 hours. On
  day two\, we will play a top 16 finals\; this will be a standard double e
 lim cut with the same start time as day one. You're definitely not require
 d to play the whole event to get prizes. I'm sure some people will end up 
 dropping part way through.\nThe Showdowns are made possible thanks to volu

 le from.\n\nWhat happens if I buy a ticket and can't make it? You have two
  choices. First\, I can refund your ticket. The earlier you can register t
 he better it is for me and I don't want that to cost you if your plans cha
 nge. The second option is to keep your ticket and I will ship you the part
 icipation prizes and any early registration bonuses.\n\nAffordability My m
 ain goal for running the Showdown tournaments is to increase access to com
 petitive Netrunner and help connect our global community. I make an effort
  to keep the base ticket price affordable\, but I want to make sure the co
 st isn't a barrier for anyone who would like to play and receive prizes. I
 f you are hesitant to play because of the cost you have a few options.  \n
 First of all\, anyone can play completely free without a ticket (tickets a
 re only required to receive physical prizes). If you would like to play wi
 thout receiving prizes\, all you need to do is register on Cobra and show 
 up in the Discord events hub at the start of the event. Without a ticket y
 ou can still win any non-physical prizes and Beans.\nIf you want to play a
 nd receive prizes but paying for a ticket would prevent you\, use the disc
 ount code NETRUNNER4EVERYONE for 100% off the base ticket price. This disc
 ount code does not have unlimited uses. Please use one if it would help\, 
 but only if you plan to participate in the event. If the free tickets happ
