\nThe first 6 rounds of the event will be paired using SSS. P layers with four wins after the 6 rounds will move on to a “top 8 cut” . \nDuring the first 6 rounds\, players will always be eliminated in ev en numbers. If an odd number of players would be eliminated\, the highest ranked player with 3 losses is “saved”.
\nAfter the 6 rounds of SSS are complete\, there is a chance that less than 8 players have all three lives remaining. In that case\, all players 3/3 will still have a slim cha nce of winning\, and I will explain how that works if we end up in that si tuation. If after the 6 rounds of SSS\, there are more than 8 players with all 3 lives remaining\, we will play a tiebreaker round to determine the final 8\nIf you can think of any edge cases I haven't covered feel free to reach out and I'll make sure there is a plan before the event starts. Edge C ases I have planned for:

\n

There will be no ties. Every player in t he event will have a seed that will be used to break ties in the event tha t the game would usually result in a tie.

\n

During the first 6 r ounds\, players will always be eliminated in even numbers. If an odd numbe r of players would be eliminated\, the highest ranked player with 3 losses is “saved”.

\n

After the 6 rounds of SSS are complete\, ther e is a chance that less than 8 players have all three lives remaining. In that case\, all players 3/3 will still have a slim chance of winning\, and I will explain how that works if we end up in that situation. If after th e 6 rounds of SSS\, there are more than 8 players with all 3 lives remaini ng\, we will play a tiebreaker round to determine the final 8
